 GS Troop 61094  Riverview Park  
 Shelton Land Trust  Rt 110 from Hubbell Lane working towards Israel Hill Rd.  25 large bags of garbage, 7 tires, and one Chevrolet pickup truck hood were collected.  The Land Trust was not able to cover as much ground as hoped because of the volume of garbage to be picked up. The Shelton Land Trust is a private, non-profit organization that owns 365 acres of conservation lands.  They are always looking for new members and support.  Completed April 20. 
 GS Troop 363 Huntington Wellfield Open Space off Sycamore Drive & Lane Street.  5 bags of litter plus a couple of plastic swimming pools were removed from the shoreline of the Far Mill River. Troop 363 has adopted this open space.
 BS Troop 28  Riverview Park  Large debris was pulled out of a steep ravine on the northern border of the park, including 7 tires and a bathtub (see photos on our web album).
 Gil & Neighbors  Far Mill River from Yutaka Trail to Farmill Crossing  
 Ron, Teresa & Neighbors  Mill Street, Judson Street, Gristmill Trail, Far Mill River  20 bags, a couple water heaters, aluminum siding, and other debris were collected.
 Girl Scouts from Long Hill School - Troops 1588, 312, 292, & 826  Long Hill Ave past Wicke toward Rt 110, Long Hill School  4 bags of recycleables and 10 bags of other litter were collected. 60 Scouts participated.

 Housatonic River - Shelton, Stratford & Milford  May 3 event is open to all, from 8:00 to 4:00 at Sunnyside Boat Launch.  Free T-shirts to the first 100 participants; free food donated by Subways and Dunkin Donuts.   Please check back for more info. The shores of the Housatonic River may have more litter than the entire remainder of the city.  See www.cleansound.org.  Rain or shine, bring your own boots & gloves.

Girl Scout Troop 407 East Village Park entryway, border of French's Hill Open Space along East Village Road The troop has adopted the garden around the entryway sign and picks up garbage in the area several times a year.

Test America Longhill Cross Road 53 Bags of trash were removed from Longhill Cross Road and Forest Parkway.  Test America plans to continue keeping the street clean.
